Students are selected and awards are distributed based on demonstrated academic achievement, financial need and community involvement. In 2001, the RMHC/ASIA (Asian Students Increasing Achievement) and RMHC African American Future Achievers Scholarships began. To date, RMHC has awarded more than $24 million to help high school seniors attend college.
