Welcome to LVISD:

I want to thank you for visiting our website.  Our site is managed by our students with the assistance of our teachers.  We are proud of their work.  If you have suggestions for improvement, please feel free to email me (tom.harvey@lvschools.net).

LVISD is a great place for students to learn.  We have a capable and dedicated staff as well as supportive parents and community members.  I am honored to inform you that our district is a RECOGNIZED school district as determined by the State’s academic accountability system.  This accomplishment reflects not only student achievement but also the hard work and dedication our teachers and staff commit to daily.

Please allow me to brag about our students.  It would be difficult to find a better student body.  They continually amaze me with their accomplishments.  They are smart, energetic, thoughtful, and ambitious.  The leaders being developed at our school today will provide our community, state, and nation with leadership well into the 21st century.
